An initiative is about taking action to bring about change that will solve a problem. It could be a project, process to bring about change or even an implementation strategy that when implemented provides a solution

Innovation takes many forms. It is a process of bringing ideas, methods, services, products or solutions to a problem in order to have positive impact . It can be, but is not always about something new, it can be improvement to what already exists and can be transformational. Is it what we are looking for is improved outcomes
How do I submit my initiative for recognition?
Please follow the link to submit your initiative outline, ensuring that it fits the values and principles of GAIN. Following submission, you will receive an email of receipt and within one working week you will receive a response to your submission.
How is impact measured by the GAIN?
We are focused both on the process of what you do and the outcomes. We anticipate that both process and outcomes will positively benefit those you work with and this is something we would read about in your submission.
In relation to calculating the numerical reach of the GAIN, we ask that you submit the numbers of children, young people or adults who will experience positive benefit from what you are doing.
Who reviews submissions to the GAIN?
Submissions are reviewed by members of the leadership team.
What happens if I need to change the initiative that has been submitted throughout its implementation?
You will be asked to provide updates and would record changes as part of this process.
Can I submit more than one initiative for recognition?
It is possible to submit more than one initiative for recognition at one time. It is also possible to submit further initiatives for recognition once an initiative has been completed.
